Investment research firm, East AfricaProof of concept

A research desk that writes the report, on the firm's own servers

An analyst's question becomes a sourced report on the firm's own servers. This is a proof of concept; live results are not yet available.

Delivered by our founding team at a previous firm. Clients anonymised under NDA.

In brief

What problem needed solving?

Every report was written by hand, one at a time. Days of work per report; two analysts, two ways of working; off-the-shelf tools meant sending client positions to an outside company, which regulators don't allow. The desk could only publish as fast as analysts could write.

What did the team build?

The whole desk rebuilt as software, not a chatbot bolted on. An analyst types a plain question; a coordinator routes it to specialists for shares, funds, commodities and timing; a fact-checking step checks figures against their sources; the report carries a verdict, price targets under three conditions and every figure dated and sourced. Runs on the firm's own computers.
